About me
Hello there, I'm Dessa, your friendly neighbourhood TransFemme Game Master and content creator over on Twitch! I bring over a decade of experience to the table and a love of TTRPGs that began all the way back with DnD 3e. Since then, I've delved into a wide array of systems, including Blades in the Dark, Warhammer Fantasy, Alien RPG, Powered by the Apocalypse, DnD5e, Conan, and my current love: PATHFINDER! I proudly welcome and support the LGBTQ+ community and it is my aim to have my virtual tables be a place where everyone can feel safe and comfortable with expressing themselves. As a GM I want to encourage my players creativity, to give them the space to play out their characters, and to cheer them on as they come up with the most absurd, out-of-the-box solutions to the problems they face. I’m not the adversary to my players, I’m their biggest fan! With Foundry as my preferred virtual table top, I bring a wealth of features to our sessions, including animated combat encounters, immersive audio, automated mechanics, and vibrant maps. There will be artistic scenes ready for those moments of theatre of the mind, and engaging battle maps when it’s time to zoom in on the action. How Dessa creates a safe table
Players can expect a focus on story-telling and shared experiences, with game rules used to enhance this rather than limit what a player can do. As this is very much an open-world campaign, the players will have a lot of say in what aspects of the world they want to explore and I will flesh out the story based on those interests. Due to the nature of horror campaigns, safety tools are very important and will be discussed in session 0 (plus the ability to revisit them at anytime).
