Use your otherworldly powers to keep a malignant adversary from breaking the world!
About the adventure
// Stand by. This is not a dream. Your terminated consciousness has been marked for repurposing. You are experiencing a trans-universal pattern shift. Existential disorientation is expected. Please stand by as your temporal interface is loaded. // There is a System which oversees the continued existence of the multiverse and has done so throughout time without accolades or even attention. It simply is, and simply does. However, the System has identified a curiously aggressive bug in its pattern. The glitch produced by the bug has infected every subsequent destiny path in the realm of Golarion and is projected to cause a cascade of thread failures which will eventually result in the collapse of the core reality. The System has determined the approximate location and time frame of the bug’s source, but its attempts at learning its full nature or stemming it within the bug's infection point realm have proven completely ineffective. In an attempt to construct a solution from external factors, the System has therefore reached into an adjacent reality to collect a trio of experimental agents to accomplish what it could not. From the Earthly realm and plucked out of the stream of time, you have been deemed compatible with the System's needs for reasons only it can fathom. Your consciousness has been merged into the existing destiny path and methodically upgraded in order to explore the targeted location, determine the true nature of the "bug," and neutralize it once and for all. // Location: The Gravelands // Though reduced to a wasteland in the wake of the Tyrant's wrath, there are those who have managed to eke out an existence in the blighted landscape which is all that remains of the once proud nation of Lastwall. While much was lost in the wave of violence and destruction years ago, there is still much that remains now hidden in the Gravelands – ancient secrets and powerful artifacts. Most who seek Lastwall’s lost treasures join expeditions approaching from the borders, battling through the corpse hordes, and then retreating to safety once their prize has been claimed. But some crave greater treasures still or perhaps something more than just monetary gain. Those who can avoid the wandering dead have formed pocket societies -- survivalists who either work to recultivate the land or simply bend the weaker folk to their will and become a badlands despot. In the midst of this, you arrive with the wisdom of another world and empowered by the System. You may have landed in the middle of hell, but everyone else is about to find out who is truly the most dangerous thing out there.

About me
Hi, I'm Leo! I've been doing games for over thirty years, and was GM for the vast majority of that time on account of there almost never being anyone else willing to run things. Over the decades, I've become accustomed to many different playstyles so I like to think that I'm pretty versatile. The most important thing, though, is that everyone is having fun and I do my best to ensure that the game is enjoyable for all involved. I spend entirely too much time gathering GM resources, so I'm bringing materials to the table like VTT licenses, animated maps, fitting music, and occasionally art if I can find the time to make it. I don't homebrew a lot, myself, but I'll always take requests under consideration. To me, the players are the main characters and I'm always looking for opportunities to help them shine. Nothing in the setting or NPC list should take up more attention as far as I'm concerned. Message me if you're interested in a game!

Storytelling
Leo is a great GM who adapts well to the quirks and desires of his players. I'm in several campaigns he runs and always look forward to when he starts a new one. Each campaign feels different and adapted to the characters I and others are playing in them.
While Leo has been only here for a short time, I've known him through RPG.net, RPoL.net, and beyond. He is quick to answer, vibes along things, keeps an eye on the rules, and helps homebrew stuff. He makes worlds full of people doing things. You are a main character in the world, but you aren't the only one and that makes it a lot of fun.
I've played a lot of games over a lot of years and to this day, Leo here is the best game master I've ever had. His encouragement for player creativity and flexibility to wrap personalized characters into the narrative kept our adventures engaging during gritty survival and high power fantasy battles. He brings an incredible energy to his games and is an incredibly inclusive campaign leader. If you get to join a campaign of his, count yourself blessed!
Character creation
Creating your character
Character concepting may occur beforehand while Session 0 itself will be used to finalize character decisions as well as go over the safety tools and everyone's expectations.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need a Discord account and a decent Internet connection, mostly due to the fancy maps and effects. Everything else will be handled by Foundry.
What Leo brings to the table
I'll be supplying the Foundry VTT license and server along with animated scenery and maps from providers such as Beneos Battlemaps, music and ambience from providers such as Michael Ghelfi, and a selection of premium modules from multiple sources. All necessary texts will be provided upon request if needed (though, you can find pretty much anything you need on Archives of Nethys). I am usually pretty "Rule of Cool," but I appreciate structures and like to follow the rules as long as it doesn't create a bigger problem. Isekai Fantasy is all about showing off how much cooler the PCs are than the average folk, though, so if you find that the rules are feeling a bit inhibiting, do let me know and we can try to find a solution that will work for everyone.
