About the adventure
Want to learn french in a fun way? You've come to the right place! This will play as normal dnd 5e, but your french speaking ability impacts the game! This will be tailored to your french level. May it be beginner or advanced. You spoke good french? You get an inspiration point to reroll a future roll! You got a saving throw to do? Answer this pop quiz and you can reroll! The npc only understand french (don't worry I'll help you talk to them). And While we play I shall teach you new words that might save your life later... Other than that, this is the classic Curse of Strahd adventure, where you are teleported in a cursed land and the only way to escape is to kill the vampire lord Strahd. You will need all the help you can get, from experience, artefacts and allies.

Creating your character
We can do the characters together in the session 0 or you can make it on your own after session 0. We will start at level 1. For stats, you can use the basic number, point buy, or roll them. You can play any race and class from any of the official rule books.

You will need a mic, a discord account and a roll20 account. Both of these accounts are free.
What Marie Desautels brings to the table
I have all the official maps from the campaign with the tokens and everything. I also put ambiant music and do voices as much as I can. I tend to follow the rules for the most part with a few exeptions that we will discuss.

How Marie Desautels creates a safe table
Please write to me if there is anything you want to avoid in the roleplay. If a situation is too much, tell me. We can take breaks, we can change the scene or reduce the intencity. My own limits are: no explicit sex scenes (fade to black if something does happen), nothing rape related, no pedophilia of any kind. I will not tolerate if anyone breaks those limits. I will warn and even ban if necessary. Your own limits will be added to the list of rules that we will discuss at the begining of the campaign. I want everyone to be comfortable at my table.
