About the adventure

Band together with a group of renowned heroes stranded in the Grey Wastes of Hades and uncover the source of the disturbance tearing the plane apart. With luck, you might even escape with your souls still in one piece… The gods have turned their eyes from Hades, and the plane has begun to die. Once a realm of death, balance and order, it now festers with rot and remembrance. The rivers run thick with poison, and even the divine cower from true decay. Echoes From Below is a dark fantasy campaign that explores a lot of what Hades has to offer, from the plague-ridden remains of the Blood War in Oinos, to the fog-choked shadow woods of Niflheim, all the way to the decayed caverns of silent gods in Pluton. Each layer is wholly unique and carries its own strange rules, terrors and beauty. 💀 Experience the decay of a dying underworld Face daemons, corrupted beasts, and the strange rot that spreads through every corner of the Wastes. 💀 Brush against fraying divinity Meet divine remnants wrestling with the unraveling of a plane they no longer command. Explore parts of their domains as the borders have rotted away. 💀 Claim relics no mortal should wield Discover hellish machinery, forgotten tech of the Blood War, and insane magic items reserved to the bowls of hell… 💀 Return your character to their former glory Seek out sources of remembrance hidden throughout each layer to reclaim your lost memories, recover your abilities, and return your character to their former glory (level up). This is a weekly campaign revolving primarily around Hades and it's three layers: Oinos, NIflheim and Pluton. Your main goal will be to escape from Hades with your newfound knowledge and to find a way to keep the whispering rot of the underworld from destroying your memories in the process. The campaign is expected to take 25-35 sessions to complete with each session running between 2 and 3 hours. We'll end back around 15th level! Any experience level is absolutely welcome! I love teaching the game to new people and believe this story can be a great introduction to Dungeons & Dragons. I have nothing against homebrew and am always happy to entertain ideas for any unique character idea you're cooking up, just shoot me a message!

With my plethora of funny voices and army of little-guys, I try my absolute hardest to immerse and hook you into the setting. On top of that I'm dedicated to making sure your character's aspirations and goals are weaved into the story in a way that you find satisfying. From fun RP and improv, to tear-jerking moments of development, my games are littered with role-playing opportunities that’ll leave you needing a break to contemplate what you say next. A creative and cool story-telling moment will always outshine the rule book. At the end of the day, I just want to tell a one-of-a-kind story with some cool people regardless of any background. Creating your character

💀 D&DBeyond Campaign Link: https://www.dndbeyond.com/campaigns/join/64409214228758021 Characters will start at 15th level, and quickly be brought down to 5th level. 💀 2024 Rules (2014 subclasses a-ok, just let me know) 💀 Point Buy Ability Scores 💀 Milestone Leveling 💀 Standard Starting equipment 💀 1 free uncommon magic item or +1 weapon 💀 Everyone starts with a free feat unless you start as variant human or take a background that provides a feat/spells. 💀 Every race/class is a-OK Your characters are the "Heros of Himdale" a smaller city in the Material Plane (the normal world). Your story/lore are fairly unrestricted, feel free to go crazy with whatever story you have in mind! Since you're technically starting at 15th level, it would make sense if your character had some experience and achievement under their belt. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to shoot me a message I'll respond ASAP!
