Echoes from Below - Weekly D&D Hades Campaign!
Ripped from your hometown, you and your party find themselves raised from death in a strange realm. Explore and fight against Hades to save your soul!
About the adventure
This story begins with a group of highly acclaimed adventurers, praised as the strongest to ever call the city of Himdale home. You've been enjoying your time resting since your last campaign, but abruptly you're once again called to action as a mysterious and ferocious beast attacks your city. You and your companions stand against a massive, rot filled monster that you successfully take down... but at a great cost. After the battle you awaken in a strange place filled with the smell of blood and rot, remembering little more than your own name. Do you have the resilience to cling to your memories and climb your way out of Hades? Or would you let your very soul rot away like the hollowed around you... 👹 - Traverse and conquer the realm Daemons and wicked beings call home 🏰 - Explore the new Bastion rules and create the perfect stronghold for you and your party! 🛠️ - Utilize forgotten war machines and hellish technology from the blood war! This is a weekly campaign revolving primarily around Hades and it's three layers: Oinos, NIflheim and Pluton. Your main goal will be to escape from Hades with your newfound knowledge and to find a way to keep the whispering rot of the underworld from destroying your memories in the process. It's expected to take 20 to 30 2-3 hour sessions to complete, and end back at around 15th level. Any experience level is absolutely welcome! I love teaching the game to new people and believe this story can be a great introduction to Dungeons & Dragons. I have nothing against homebrew and am always happy to entertain ideas for any unique character idea you're cooking up, just shoot me a message!

Creativity

Storytelling
This is one of if not THE best GM on this site! When I first started playing at his table I was new to D&D but that was no problem at all he walked me through the processes and helped guide me to making the character that I wanted. He does a good job making sure everyone feels invested in the stories even if we go off the beaten trail he always has something up his sleeve 10/10!
Taylor was such a welcoming and helpful GM all they way. My friend and I are beginners and fairly new to virtual DnD, but he made it so simple and walked us through everything so that we could settle in and really invest in the experience. Voices, combat and story were delivered so well, nothing but fun the whole time!
THE best DM for every person that could come across his table. He artfully keeps things balanced, challenging, and engaging for experienced and beginner players alike. The environment is always welcoming and friendly, stimming from his ability to make friends with everyone at the table. From going back and forth with outgoing players to providing stepping stones for more shy players to take cues from, roleplaying has never felt more natural/mutual. I cannot recommend his games enough, and play in them every chance I get. 5 stars all around ✨
Dude this guy is awesome. I haven’t played D & D a day in my life before this adventure I’ve been on. Not once did he make me feel dumb or anything like that when asking questions or help. We’re like eight in and I still ask questions and he’ll help me out immediately not getting annoyed. He’s easy going, feels like you’re playing with a friend, I could go on. If you’re looking for a chill game with a story and some badass combat. This guy definitely is the way to go.
DM is very knowledgeable about the game and takes the time to explain mechanics to beginners. Allows player creativity and doesn't try to railroad sessions. DM is great at really painting a picture of the scene and uses a ton of npc voices along with background music to give a really immersive experience.

Creating your character
D&DBeyond Campaign Link: https://www.dndbeyond.com/campaigns/join/64409214228758021 Characters will start at 15th level, and quickly be brought down to 5th level. - Point Buy Ability Scores - Milestone Leveling - Standard Starting equipment - 1 free uncommon magic item or +1 weapon - Everyone starts with a free feat unless you start as variant human or take a background that provides a feat/spells. - Every race/class is a-OK Your characters are the "Heros of Himdale" a smaller city in the Material Plane (the normal world). Your story/lore are fairly unrestricted, feel free to go crazy with whatever story you have in mind! Since you're technically starting at 15th level, it would make sense if your character had some experience and achievement under their belt. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to shoot me a message I'll respond ASAP!
