About the adventure
Aetherstrand is a bustling coastal city where the scent of brine and adventure fills the air. The city is a tapestry of vibrant markets, rowdy taverns, and mysterious alleyways, all encircled by towering stone walls that have withstood the test of time and tide. Every corner holds the promise of danger, discovery, and the lure of the unknown. It is a city that never sleeps, where fortunes are made and lost with the tide, and where every new dawn could herald the start of a grand adventure. Players (you!) are members of the Galesworn Guild, an adventuring collective of explorers and warriors who swear by the winds to guide them to fortune and fame. With a new one shot adventure each week, adventurers can enjoy them as often or sparingly as they like as this anthology of stories accommodates drop ins. If players would like to use their character for multiple adventures, any items, gold, or loot obtained in one game, can be used throughout the series for however many games the player would like to partake in. These classic Dungeons & Dragons one shots are fantastic for beginner and experienced players alike. Join in for some or all of them. I’d love to have you at my table!

Hello! I’m Kat! I run D&D 5e and Ten Candles. My focus is primarily on narrative, storytelling, and character development. I go all in on the RP aspect of table top with mood lighting, exciting visuals, mood music, character voices, and improvisation. Let’s tell a thrilling tale together! I am currently running a Drop-In Style Campaign (listed as one-shots here on SPG) where players (you!) are members of the Galesworn Guild, an adventuring collective of explorers and warriors who swear by the winds to guide them to fortune and fame. Creating your character
The player level will depend upon the session and instructions for level and player items will be given before the session. A D&D Beyond Campaign link will be shared with the players for character creation. All D&D WotC and Critical Role content is allowed. Homebrew is not allowed. Stats will be either Standard Array or Point Buy. Standard starting equipment for your class. Please provide some sort of artwork or a mini from heroforge for your player token.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a working microphone and a quiet space with minimal distractions. No webcam or video is necessary. Please have your characters made and ready at least an hour before game time. If you need any help, please contact the DM either via StartPlaying or Discord (Discord tends to get a faster response). Join both the Discord and the Roll 20 game. Links to both will be provided by the DM. Your imagination and excitement for some good collaborative storytelling!

How Kat creates a safe table
Safety tools will be discussed prior to each session and are available to reference in the Discord. X, N, & O cards are available to use at any time via direct messaging the DM in discord. There will be one 10 minute break about halfway through the game, but players are always welcome to step away to take care of themselves at any time during the session (Open Door Policy). After the game, there will be an aftercare check in to discuss concerns and debrief. Players are also welcome to also contact the DM via direct messaging with concerns about the game.
