About the adventure
I used to have an elegant pitch for this adventure, but then it got really wacky and now I want to sell the game that we're actually playing here. The continent has been invaded by Alien Gods, who have subjected the people under a cruel reign. It's your job to go to the Moon and fight their Mind Flayer servants, the squid like creatures who use psychic powers. Equipped with a spaceship and elephants, take the fight to the Moon and save the world from invaders. - Uncover the wretched plans of Gods who seek to rule world - Battle an army of mind controlling monsters, and free the people under their control - Ride into battle on the back of elephants, or as the people of this land know them: "New Horses" - Fight for freedom and survival

About me
Hello, I've been a Game Master for 15 years, and have experience running many systems. I've ran games for friends for years and have GM'd games at conventions, introducing players to a myriad of games. I'm comfortable to run games for beginners who would like to learn more about Role Playing or specific game systems, and I'm comfortable running games for experienced players. Creating your character
Characters will be made during session 0 as a group via D&D Beyond and should be created as follows: - Content Restrictions: All official content from the Forgotten Realms setting is available, including classes and races. Third-party content, other setting content, and homebrew is potentially allowed; please message me to review. - Level: We'll be starting at Level 1. - Stats: Point-buy, standard array, or rolling (your choice) - Gold and Starting Equipment: As normal during character creation. Notice: If joining this campaign after the session 0, characters must be created at least an hour before start time.
We're taking this journey to the Moon! Come fight some Mind Flayers, deal with some Moon Dragons, and save the world from an encroaching alien God who wants to subject the world to his power. The party is currently level 6, and contains a Druid, a Bard, a Warlock, and a Barbarian. Come and join the party!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a microphone as voice is mandatory. A webcam for video is welcome, but not required. You will need a Discord account, as that is where we'll be using voice and video. You will need a free account for Forge-VTT. A free account for D&D Beyond is also required.
What Rob brings to the table
We will be using a Virtual Tabletop (Foundry), with custom maps and tokens. In addition, I have many D&D books, so players will have plenty of options when creating characters.
