About me
Hey y'all! Take a seat and buckle in for the story of a lifetime! I go by Daniel, and I am a professional GM. I am excited to meet you, and hopefully I'll get to craft a jaw-dropping story for you as a collaborator at one of my tables. I have been telling stories through TTRPGs for about 10 years, and almost all of that has been behind a screen as a GM. I started playing at the tail end of college and quickly developed a passion for the types of storytelling involved. I fell in love with the themes, systems, and stories of TTRPGs, honed my craft, and have never looked back. Over the last two years, I have ventured into the world of being a professional GM. My craft has excelled, and I've been able to support my lovely family while becoming an expert in emergent storytelling, improvisation, and crafting challenges that raise stories to new and incredible levels. I’ve been married for several years to my beautiful wife, and together we have two young girls who fill our lives with joy and vibrance. I'm extremely lucky to be doing this, and I aim in all that I do, and especially in this powerful form of storytelling, to bring the same vibrance and joy. I am an awesome and safe choice for new players. I am ready to walk you into this world of stories and introduce you to something I love. Creating your character
Players Before joining, new players should: Create a character in the D&D Beyond campaign: Character Creation Guidelines for level 3 Characters 2014 Rules Stats: Standard Array HP: Re-roll ones on HP rolls Select from starting equipment Choose 1 uncommon magic item No homebrew content - Unless approved by me. 200 starting gold, which can be used to purchase things beyond starting equipment before session 0. Publicly available sheets *Backstory and the like will be taken care of during session 0 - Sign in to the Roll20 campaign. - Join the Discord server. - Ensure their camera and microphone are working before the start of play.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players must have a webcam and microphone. They must also sign into the Discord, Roll20, and D&D Beyond links before playing. All other requirements, such as backstory and character creation, will be addressed during session 0.
What GM DANIEL brings to the table
I'll provide D&D Beyond content for character creation. We use ROLL20 for maps and gameplay, and Discord for video chat. I enhance immersion with character voices and ambient music. I adhere to rules as written but am open to exceptions if justified.
Homebrew rules
No Heroic Inspiration - In place there are Devils Bargains. Devils Bargains are rerolls players can take once a session when they fail a role. Natural 1s and 20s carry extra weight.

How GM DANIEL creates a safe table
