About the adventure
Welcome to the world of Varia, a realm steeped in mystery and magic. The year is 535, and the world is young—still finding its place in the cosmos. Ancient gods fall silent while new deities rise, shaping the world in their image. Power lurks in forgotten ruins, remote temples, and the hearts of adventurers daring enough to seek it. This is a land on the edge of transformation, where heroes and villains are born with each passing day. Set in an age reminiscent of Earth’s Dark Ages, Varia is a land of untamed wilderness, fractured kingdoms, and fledgling empires. Danger and opportunity are ever-present, from political intrigue in the courts of rising monarchs to ancient magics hidden in deep forests and cavernous mountains. Your party will carve its own path, uncovering secrets, forging alliances, and challenging foes—both mortal and divine. This game is about more than just individual quests—it's part of a larger world, interconnected with the stories of other adventuring parties spread across the globe. Your actions might echo far beyond the horizon, influencing the fate of nations, gods, and even reality itself. So grab your sword, prepare your spells, and step into a world where every decision could shape the future. Varia is a high-fantasy setting that rewards creativity and exploration. Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or a newcomer to Dungeons & Dragons, this game invites you to dive into a rich and evolving story, filled with magic, mystery, and endless possibilities.

Preparing for the session
To join the adventure in Varia, all you need to bring is yourself and a few simple tools! Here's what you'll need to be ready: A Discord account: We'll be using Discord for voice chat and communication outside of sessions. A microphone: Clear communication is key, so having a working mic is essential for gameplay. A D&D Beyond account: This will allow you to easily create and manage your character throughout the campaign. No need to worry about reading rules ahead of time if you're new to D&D. I'll guide you through character creation and the basics of gameplay, so everyone can jump in and have fun!
What Apostle the Who brings to the table
AboveVTT, Custom Maps, Worldbuilding, Character Freedom, Rule of Cool and homebrew rules in general, I do my best to make sure npc's have clear voices and personalities.
