About me
I enjoy playing games of all sorts. When it comes to RPGs, I definitely enjoy the story and ability to interact with and influence the world through my character, but I also thoroughly enjoy the mechanical gameplay aspects. Optimization and Roleplay are not antithetical.

There are so many good things that can be said about Pete, but if I had to describe him in one word it would be Professional. He's very friendly to all the players but he never loses sight of the fact that the players are paying customers and its his job to deliver a quality experience for everyone involved. Because of that he has no hesitance at all in removing a problematic player, or even telling a player that the campaign they're applying to wouldn't be a good fit. It's not just about filling seats to make money, Pete wants to have the right people in those seats. I play in 3 different games that Pete runs, and while all 3 are Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition the campaign styles are very different. Pete's range as a GM is huge. He's a very good Storyteller and has strong world building skills. He can deliver tactically complex and interesting combat and also craft intriguing mysteries and puzzles to solve. He's very patient and competent in instructing players new to the systems he runs, so if you're looking to get in to tabletop style gaming for the first time, Pete is an excellent choice. Above all, Pete cares about player comfort and safety. He runs a very comprehensive Session 0 and uses numerous safety tools to ensure players are getting the experience they want out of the game. As mentioned earlier, he's not at all hesitant to remove players if necessary. If you ever end a session thinking things didn't feel quite right, Pete has likely already picked up on it and will pro-actively reach out to try and resolve it.
Eiko is an absolutely top tier DM. She strikes a very good balance between Rules as Written, Rules as Intended, and Rules as Fun and is always willing to work with you to make sure you're playing the character you want to play. In one of the groups I'm in every player has at least refactored if not wholly swapped out the character they're playing, sometimes more than once. She's also quite capable at balancing monster encounters around the abilities of the party, so nobody should feel forced to play a particular role for party balance. She's competent with the wide variety of modules she runs in Foundry VTT. It's a fairly automated setup which makes for a very enjoyable player experience in my opinion, with lots of fun animations and lighting effects. Her homebrew world is very well developed and full of interesting history and locations. She encourages player creativity and is quite capable of taking an idea and running with it to seamlessly incorporate it in to the world. Don't be afraid to think outside the box with Eiko, more often than not she'll be happy to work with it. Eiko is also adept at handling inter-party friction, allowing for conflict to occur when it adds to the story but calling a halt and checking in when necessary. Don't forget to try the Adderpickles.
