About the adventure
Welcome to the realm of the Astral Plane! Here, you will be able to build your own vessel to sail across the Astral Sea and adventure through the realms. This adventure is for anyone with some experience in Dungeons and Dragons 5e, whether they be veteran players or just became familiar with the rules. This will be a west-marches style adventure, though adapted to work with a smaller group and a mobile setting. No prior knowledge of west marches is required.

I've been in and out of tabletop role-playing games for about five years. I have the most experience in Dungeons and Dragons 5e, but more recently have tried to explore pbta games from Magpie Games.

Volarcanis can take a setting and make it come alive by adding more details as we explore and ask questions. He did a good job explaining the rules and helping us build our characters. He gave us good descriptions of the scenes and what happens when our roles go wrong or right. We had a lot of freedom to try different things.
Had a great play through today with Volarcanis DMing a system I had not played before called Mausritter. We explored but a small part of the world with free rein to set our selves up for failure or success..... We tortured a fairy and saved a town. It was a experience.
Character creation
Creating your character
We will form the party prior to starting play in the first session. You should have most of a character ready, but may have some blank spots for meeting the party in regards to bonds and other relationships. Characters will be able to start at level 4.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need access to a mic and a basic understanding of Dungeons and Dragons 5e rules. You will need to create a character ahead of time, but if you struggle with this, don't hesitate to reach out to me so that I may help you. I will not charge for any meetings where I meet one-on-one to help you understand characters and the game better.
What Volarcanis brings to the table
I enjoy doing voices and using ambient music, but will disable it if most are distracted or find it disruptive. I allow balanced homebrew most often, so long as it is thematic, not too disruptive, and you ask before using it. Please ask before using any resources outside of the Player's Handbook.
