About the adventure
Welcome to the wide world of Lancer! This is a sci-fi setting all about Gritty and tactical Tactical fights between sophisticated Mechs, and the exploits of their daring few Pilots. Overcome impossible odds, and rescue Cressidium from those who would see it under their heel! This is an intro adventure to the world of Lancer, beginner friendly to the rules and setting! Expect lots of role play and theater of the mind as your young pilots navigate an increasingly chaotic situation, and crunchy, meaty, cinematic battles of Robotic Warfare. Approach your missions how you choose, make choices that could affect thousands, millions, and carve your name into the tapestry of this war. Hop into your suit, meet me on the ground soldier!

Creating your character
Character Creation will be handled during Session 0, and Comp / Con is a fantastic resource for character building that is completely free to you as the PC.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Give the lancer core rules a glance, but there will be a lot of cheat sheets and helpful ways to keep the game moving. Mics are necessary for play, so that we can talk over Discord. Character creation will be done before the first session.
What James the GM brings to the table
Lancer Rulebooks, and will be using Forge VTT for handouts and battlemaps. Roleplay and ambient music will be a big mood setter for this group, with tons of inspiration from early 90's sci-fi and anime. Character voices are encouraged, but not necessary. We are telling a moving story of heroism, not a recreation of Grave of the Fireflies.
