Hello! I am very new to this, and this is very temporary!

GM Style

I love solid rules foundations informed by Rule of Cool to ensure a cinematic experience. These are roleplaying games, and should feel like an over the top game. I love focusing on Player Action, rather than telling a story happening at my players. You should feel like the hero, the driving force, not a participant in this world. Plenty of roleplay, spiced with well crafted encounters throughout to serve as the seasoning as well as the finale. Lets tell stories together!

First game playing and it was a blast! James took time out to help me not only help me build my character but tell me about the Setting and his campaign. Then diving into the first session in the middle of a high stakes combat was AMAZING! Such a smooth transition into the game. I look forward to many more sessions with James and his amazing table of players!

I have been playing with James in an online D&D campaign on StartPlaying for over two years now. As a player, he consistently roleplays deep and complex characters, but what truly sets him apart is his enthusiasm and passion for embodying these characters. As a game master, he has channeled this same talent into running a highly intricate and math-heavy game like Lancer. The result has been intense combats and memorable roleplaying moments. Couldn't imagine playing this game without him.
