Just finished up a year long campaign with Mildew. It was absolute blast and hoping to do another one soon. Always did a wonderful job creating engaging role playing moments both backstory characters and general npcs. Thematically always nailed both the music and general atmosphere with art/monsters. Mechanically I really appreciated that created in depth monster fights. Fabula Ultima was written sometimes can create almost generic or hp sponge sort of monsters using the base rules. All Mildew's boss fights were custom made with custom made skills and sometimes mechanics to better give off a Final Fanasty equivalent boss fight. Overall can't recommend more.

Jarn does a wonderful job of handling inherently chaotic systems like Fabula Ultima like a true artist. All his characters feel extremely authentic and well done. He does a great job sometimes on the fly including everyone's backstory and creating set pieces for them to create truly lived in world. Overall the perfect gm for a system that sometimes requires rapid improvisation like Fabula Ultima.

Had the pleasure of playing in one his recent one shots. It has been awhile since I played in a game were the ambiance/theme were completely on point. What was pitched was a wacky mystery on a beautiful tropical island, Indiana Jones style swashbuckling, and a almost Hanna Barbara carton meets Fantasy Island tone. Every NPC introduced nailed the vibe, the story was perfect, and overall it was exactly what hoping for. Nicholas is a master of presentation and it shows.

I have been playing with James in an online D&D campaign on StartPlaying for over two years now. As a player, he consistently roleplays deep and complex characters, but what truly sets him apart is his enthusiasm and passion for embodying these characters. As a game master, he has channeled this same talent into running a highly intricate and math-heavy game like Lancer. The result has been intense combats and memorable roleplaying moments. Couldn't imagine playing this game without him.

Absolute blast. Really leaned into all the role playing angles we gave have and had a great time. Everyone was fantastic and shout out to the players, best way to end a fight.
