Blood Lords - Rise & Rule in the Land of the Dead!
Stake a bloody claim in Geb, the land of undeath! A traitorous plot is and you are dead set on crushing the betrayers...by any means necessary!
About the adventure
πWhat would it be like to rule forever?π In Geb, the necromancer king and his Blood Lords know the way. Now it's time to forge your own path to power! Greydirge is your home and the local Blood Lord has a job for you: investigate a local farm which has gone silent. A people food farm, not the farms that raise people for food. Those ones are doing just fine, thank you. From these beginnings you'll adventure across the land of Geb and uncover a massive plot to take over the realm. Forge alliances, double cross your enemies and do whatever it takes to take power...or die trying. Not that that stops anyone around here...π We're just starting! Still in the opening adventures, this is a perfect time to join up while things are early! *I live in Malaysia, so for me, the game starts at 7am. I wake up an hour before the session, so don't stress if you don't hear from me until then* Hear what my players are saying! - ""Runs a tight game, very descriptive, knows Foundry well, and keeps a great pace. Highly recommended, especially for new PF2e players like myself."" "The game is run very smoothly, flowing well between encounters and exploration. There's a great sense of the atmosphere and mood of the dungeon, partly because the VTT is so immersive but also because the GM is great at evoking the details of each location." ""Mr. Manifesto brings a Pathfinder party to the party with whimsical opportunities, rewarding pursuits, and lively encounters. Fantastic development of outcomes and situations for fun campaigns as he configures the games to the party's needs, for ease of play, and to challenge the party."

About me
I'm a DM with over 7 years of experience running DnD 5e and have made the switch to Pathfinder 2e! I have run numerous one shots and full campaigns, including a homebrew campaign set in Lamordia. I pride myself on detailed, in depth worlds full of rich history and chances to influence the world in whatever way the players want! I have had the pleasure of running for players from US, Canada, France, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines. I like to think that gathering such different perspectives has helped me round out my experiences with influences from varied cultures from all over the world. I run games on FoundryVTT and enjoy anything from hack n slash dungeon crawls to eldritch horror to intrigue. I run a Session Zero to make sure that I know what the expectations and desired story beats are for each player and will do my best to incorporate their back stories into the game. I'm confident that I can create a game that will suit your preference! I am available for questions any time so please let me know if you have any. Thank you!

Mason was great at running the Malevolence Campaign. There are numerous reviews about this campaign that discuss how tedious it can be, as well as how challenging it can be. There were certainly times when our group encountered its challenges, whether it was because of a particular difficult enemy, or a troublesome piece of research that needed to be unlocked, but Mason did an excellent job leading us through this adventure without letting us get bogged down in some of the drudgery. On a side note, this was my first full PF2e campaign, and I felt that Mason did an excellent job explaining some of the rules to me that I was having challenges with. I would also note that Malevolence is probably not the best campaign for beginners, as some of the enemies are particularly challenging.
Character creation
Creating your character
I have the player's guide to the campaign available on the Discord channel and that the basics of what you should expect. Undead characters are allowed. Free archetypes are allowed. I have modules to import from Herolab or Pathbuilder into Foundry, or you can use the character sheet itself.
Please contact me for the discord which has everything you need to get going! I live in Malaysia so if I don't contact you right away, I will around an hour before the session gets going.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please have a reliable internet connection and accounts at Discord and ForgeVTT. You will need a reliable mic and a quiet place to play. Please make sure you are available for the day and time of the session reliably.
What The Game Meowster brings to the table
I have the official Foundry module, awesome spell animations, automation tools to keep the game flowing and keep things easy and am always available to help!
Homebrew rules
I have some small changes. Aid DC is the DC of the thing you're attempting -2, reactions are able to be used before your first turn, fly speed is the same whether going up or down. A couple other small things, message me for more info but its nothing big.

How The Game Meowster creates a safe table
This game involves adult themes of necromancy and death. While I don't glorify or go into tremendous detail about those topics, Geb is a society built on the undead and there will be many themes relating to that. This isn't a game for edgelords. Horror, gore and consumption of flesh by undead are topics that will be raised but I'm not going to dwell on it. Please feel free to communicate any specific topics you're not comfortable with at any time!
