About the adventure

Saltmarsh: Adventures in Eberron is a swashbuckling level 1 to 20 adventure. It fuses together Ghosts of Saltmarsh, Tomb of Annihilation, and D&Ds Ebberon setting for a fast-paced, epic campaign. You can expect to 🦜Befriend pirates. 🧭Explore the high seas and untamed jungles. ⚔️Fight aquatic devils and ancient evils. --- Campaign Roadmap --- -> Ghosts of Saltmarsh (Levels 1 to 12): A seemingly simple investigation into a trio of gilded bodies reveal the Sahaugin's mounting invasion. However, they're only the harbingers of things to come as the lich Acererak schemes to raise a dead god. Can you stop them in time to save Saltmarsh, your home? -> Tomb of Annihilation (Levels 13 to 17): You've hindered Acererak's schemes, but his dead god still stirs. You'll need to call your allies, forge new alliances, and venture into the untamed jungles of Xen'drik to end Acererak's threat once and for all. Not everyone will return. -> Overlords Rising (Levels 18 to 20): You've defeated Acererak, but the scars he's left on Eberron run deep. And through them, the long sealed Overlords begin to seep throught with help of their rakshasa heralds. Can you save Eberron one last time?

About me

Hiđź‘‹, I'm Franc, better known as Golvin. I'd like to be your GM. While I mainly run D&D, Call of Cthulhu, and Alien RPG, my real pleasure is trying new modules and systems. (Cowboy Bebop RPG anyone?) Which has led me to a specialization in running one-shots, often including highly detailed handouts, pre-made characters, and other player aids. I also write the Reviews from the Far Reams Substack newsletter, currently focused on helping others get the most out of Call of Cthulhu 7e modules.

Character creation

Creating your character

Players may create their own level 1 character or use one of 6 pre-generated characters. Those creating their own character must follow the character creation guidelines below and be completed before the session starts. If you'd like help with character creation, please reach out. --- Character Creation Guidelines --- - Standard Array or Point Buy for stats. (No rolling). - Only pull from the 2024 PHB and DMG, unless stated otherwise. (No homebrew or 3rd party content.) - The Silvery Barbs spell.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

To participate in the game, you will need to: - Join the Roll20 game (accounts are free), - Join the Discord Server (accounts are free), - Have a serviceable microphone, - Have a headset or quiet space (i.e. no background noise please), - And an internet connection capable of running all the above simultaneously.

What Golvin - One-Shot GM brings to the table

I guarantee a quick-paced, engaging campaign filled with memorable characters. On the tangible side, players gain access to all allowed content through Roll20. Plus, my notes, handouts, and thoughts on how to run already completed adventures. This includes session summaries for those looking to catch up or remember an NPC's name.

Homebrew rules

Rules as written, unless rule of cool applies, a ruling is required, or a mechanic doesn't work. (E.g. hiding works as it did in 2014.)

Safety

How Golvin - One-Shot GM creates a safe table

As part of onboarding for the game, I send players my Line & Veils and ask for theirs in return. Which are then confirmed at the beginning of the session as part of a mini-session 0. During the game, if anything disturbs you, please tell me, leave an "X" in the chat, or privately message me. I will then remove the offending or skip past it. Likewise, if you feel the adventure is going in an unsavory direction but use an "N" instead. I will also check in if I notice anything is off.
