About me
Hi! I'm James, but my handles used are MalachiteRain and Queen Otter! I'm a DM from Eastern Europe with a penchant for the more gritty aspects of Tabletop Roleplaying and custom-made settings. I wish to host games and adventures therein because I find it a much more rewarding experience to let my creativity and story entertain people, and the opportunity to do so is quite alluring. From me you can expect intriguing plotlines in custom and very fleshed out settings that I make using the systems at hand. Twists to your staples to enhance them, as well as a great dedication to immersing players in the world at large. Fantasy was my beginning and I have since leaned more into Sci-fi and cyberpunk settings. My tenure as GM has been around 9 years or so, starting with D&D 3.5 after just reading the Dungeon Master's Guide. Since then I've been a Forever GM of sorts with the majority of my time cutting my teeth on 3.5, Pathfinder and finally 5th edition D&D. 5e is my system of choice, but that doesn't mean I am not up for running other systems such as Call of Cthulhu, Pathfinder 1e or even Dark Heresy.

Creating your character
Characters will be created during Session Zero and will start at level 1 as they will be fresh adventurers stepping foot into the wider world. Their details will be noted on an online sheet of your desire, or a Google Sheet one will be provided.
The setting is Classic-era Warcraft, where you will play new adventurers stepping up and heeding the call of adventure! Session 0 pending!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
When you sign up, you will join me and your fellow players on a Discord server where all the details, links and files will be provided for you to peruse (Warcraft handbook, class documents, character sheet, etc...). Of course, any questions Players will need a mic, a Discord account for said communication, and a desire to get gaming!
What Otter brings to the table
I will provide a table with maps, a personal music bot to play those wonderful tunes, and exciting performances of various characters.
Homebrew rules
Elephant in the Room Feat Taxes Trade Skills allow all classes to partake in creating magical items, potions, and the like, just like in the MMO. Mana Points New Materials

How Otter creates a safe table
Players can expect to get immersed in the setting that is Warcraft, meeting iconic enemies, and delving much deeper into many of the rich storylines spread throughout the world. Session Zero will cover what faction - or lack thereof - they want to play with, character creation, expectations as well as the usage of safety tools on offer. Sessions will last 3 hours/3 and a half maximum with a quick break if needed, all of this over Owlbear Rodeo.
