About the adventure
In a world where territories are ruled by councils representing the aspects and affinities of individual classes, known as the Greater Guilds, war has been declared between the Wizard and Monk guilds. The declaration was made after the child prophet and worker of miracles Leiander was killed during her procession to the holy city of Sol Ortis. The murderer was a high ranking member of the Wizards Guild, apprehended and put to death against the expressed warnings of the Wizards council. The deaths of two guild citizens have conscripted thousands to meet upon the Dueling Grounds, and with old rivalries and acts of active terror there can be no doubt that more will join the fight, and should they do so all hopes of survival shall be sundered

Meet the Game Master
About me
I stumbled upon this site while looking for alternative ttrpg gaming options when home games couldn’t meet on a regular basis. That and a desire to explore different game systems that have caught my interest over the years. Role play is key for me, especially because I view my combats as an extension of role play. I love to see unique and strange characters, mechanics are secondary to me when it comes to recognizing a great character in the making. You don’t have to know what next spells or advancements your character will take at all times, but if you know what your character wants I can work with you through anything.

Creating your character
I welcome players to make a character to bring to session zero with the expectation that others might still be solidifying aspects of their own characters

Safety
How Charles A. creates a safe table
Players can expect a link to the rpg consent checklist, if they are unable to find it on their own, within a discord channel dedicated to safety tools and discussion. The completed checklist from each player will be submitted to the GM via discord by the end of session zero. They can also expect that during the session zero we will be discussing the character concepts of each character as well as a synopsis of backstory. Players will be informed that after two hours of play we will take a 15 minute break before resuming the session to completion Players will also be reminded that experience levels likely will vary from player to player and that they should be patient and accommodate times of rule clarification and review for all foreseeable sessions.
