Stevie did a great job of juggling people dropping out as well as last minute additions and was able to keep weaving a cohesive story. Was patient and able to get everyone up to speed on fantasy grounds which was a great vtt platform. Did a really great job of making everyone feel welcome and heard. Couldn’t have asked for a better DM to run my first campaign! 10/10 would recommend and not just for new players either!

I was a beginner and he helped me through the first two sessions until I had a work schedule change and could no longer attend. I will be looking for more games from him to open up as he did a great job and made it extremely fun and answered all the questions a new player could have. 10/10

Steve presents a great fun game with flexible character progression and great game play knowledge. His sessions are always fun and entertaining but he also presents the fantasy setting brilliantly with visual aids and descriptions. When the mood requires, it can get serious and dark but there is always a comical touch when needed! Superb DM!

Steve wants the group to have fun within the rules. Resolution and interpretation of the rules is always positive, with in depth ramifications of decisions. He does need you to be creative with your character and roleplay within the game. Be prepared to bring your drama skills to the game - but not mandatory! Thoroughly enjoying playing the game so far, and cannot wait to continue with my character.

I think Steven has a simple approach to DMing, it has to be fun for the players. He starts with a simple questionnaire which gives him I gather a means of customising the hame to the players. All I can say is I thoroughly enjoy his games.

How Stevie D creates a safe table
Prior to our journey, we'll conduct a Session 0 where we openly discuss the envisioned trajectory of our game. Topics will range from preferred rules, character dynamics, and detailed setting elements to the desired level of challenge. At the beginning of each session, I will emphasize my receptive stance towards feedback. I encourage players to raise concerns by simply raising a hand if any discomfort arises. A steadfast commitment to maintaining a respectful atmosphere is paramount. Abusive, negative, or judgmental behaviour will not be tolerated at our table. Should such behaviour emerge in my presence, the individuals responsible will be promptly removed from the game. I am dedicated to fostering a secure and welcoming environment. Scheduled breaks will be thoughtfully integrated, typically occurring around every hour. If the group necessitates more frequent breaks, we will adapt accordingly. Post-session, I will connect with each player for debriefing purposes. We'll explore what aspects were successful and those that could be improved. Moreover, I am keen on addressing any concerns they believe require attention in forthcoming sessions.
