About the adventure

Imagine a world where Tiamat was summoned successfully. Where the Princes of Elemental Evil tread unfettered. Where Demogorgon prowls the Underdark with the Wand of Orcus, leaving an army of undead in his wake. Where the storm giants have been cast to the bottom of the Ordning. Where Baldur's Gate has been banished to the Nine Hells. . . . Imagine a world where good has lost and evil prevailed. The Sword Coast has been divvied up by the Zhentarim, the mountain giants of Grudd Haug, the Cult of the Dragon, and many other sinister factions. But above them all looms the Archlich Vecna, who has orchestrated or exploited a series of ever-escalating calamities to conquer the very Realms themselves. Will you rise to the challenge? Or, will you too, fall before the might of Vecna? How to prepare

You will need the following: - Fantasy Grounds Unity (at least a demo copy) installed and operational. I have a DM Ultimate License so no purchase is necessary by the players. - Discord, installed and ready to use for voice. - Proper Quality Mic with headset. - High Speed Internet Connection. I do not live stream or record any sessions without prior player consent.

What I provide

- Custom maps and Fantasy Grounds extensions to enhance play. - Syrinscape for theme music and sound effects. - All software and books needed via Fantasy Grounds. - I will input any characters submitted by PDF into Fantasy Grounds and provide images and tokens if not submitted by the player.

Gameplay details

We will cover all safety issues and concerns in session 0. - Expect your actions to have consequences. Don't be stupid. Play smart. If I give you lots of hints that opening the box will unleash fiery death. Don't open the box and expect to live. - I'm a story teller, the rule of cool applies. If it's cool, cinematic and epic, screw the rules- I'll probably allow it. If this grates against your rules lawyer soul...we are not meant to play together.

How will character creation work

What rulebooks should I use? You can use non-optional rules found in the Player’s Handbook, the Basic Rules, and all the books listed below. If a rule has been reprinted in a newer resource, you must always use the latest printing. • Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons (FTD) • Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse (MPMM) • Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide (SCAG) • Xanathar’s Guide to Everything (XGE) Additionally, the following variant or optional rules are available: • Chapter 6: Customization Options (PH) • Variant Human Traits (PHB) (Absolutely no flying races will be allowed) Alignment Requirement: No Evil Starting Equipment: You will start with the basic equipment given to you by your class and background. Ability Scores: Ability scores can be generated using the 27 point buy as featured in the PHB. Hit Points: Maximum at 1st level, average each additional level. Backgrounds: Any from the source books listed above or any from the material in the Character Creation tab. Customizing backgrounds is allowed but must be approved by the DM, same with any player built custom backgrounds. You can create a character prior to game time either by Fantasy Grounds or by sending me a copy of them in a PDF on my Discord Server (invite sent after registering). You will also be able to chat with other players there prior to game time. We will have a session 0 to iron out any remaining issues.
