Drome

I haven't played in his games for long and only a year or two longer with him as a fellow player, but I am really enjoying the characters (both player characters and NPCs) as well as his ability to put a spin on tropes and plots or play them straight. By luck or skill, he is really good at understanding a character and working with it, which in turn boosts my immersion into the characters and the world.

I've played in BWs games for 2 years or so, in online live games over a Virtual Tabletop. He knows pretty much every rule by heart and if ever something odd comes up he makes reasonable rulings quickly, probably due to year-long experience. His style is more old-school and he says he doesn't pull punches, but that doesn't mean he'll try to wipe you out. He wants you to succeed, but you'll have to put in the work, or you're like me and turn your back to an enemy assassin and get a dagger in the back XD. Encounters and foes are run as their intelligence/mindset would be. In other words, if you want a fun and reasonably challenging game, BW is the GM for you.
