Pedro is a wonderful GM, they have a deep understanding of both narrative and philisophical implications of Mage The Ascencion. You can really feel how much thought has gone into not just the NPC's but also how much they think about the implications of the PC and what it means for them to exist in the world. They are a deep reservoir of knowledge and narrative insight and I would wholeheartedly reccomend playing at their table.
Babis is an excellent storyteller with both a keen sense of drama and a keen sense of fairness. Each moment of the oneshot I played built naturally from one scene to the next and the dichotomy between player knowledge and character knowledge was always well maintained. As a player I felt very empowered to take the initiative and define the narrative scope of my character in a way that was both impactful on a personal and in the full scope of the narrative. If you want a Storyteller who enjoys the narrative that the players create just as much as the one they've designed and eagerly improvises then look no farther than Babis.
Vampire The Masquerade 5th Edition is a rich game with mechanics tailored towards telling stories about monsters grappling with and fighting for their humanity, or worse abandoning it altogether in the pursuit of their ambitions and desires. It is a game about choice and consequence that empowers both players and storytellers to make meaningful decisions that shape the outcome of the narrative and truly feels like a collaborative effort. It falls short however in that it only excels at telling one kind of story: largely street level vampires clawing out a place for themselves in the world and reckoning with themselves. For those experienced with previous editions or who come from games of heroic fantasy the hunger system may seem frustrating, and find themselves feeling unfairly punished for messy criticals and beastial failures on otherwise mundane activities. They may also take issue with playing the role of a nearly powerless person who may have to either compromise their ideals or fight tooth and nail any advancement. So while of this offers interesting narrative turns, it still takes a wise storyteller to know how to adjust these elements for the sake of narrative and players willing to fully immerse themselves in the kinds of stories this game aims to tell. However if everyone involved can accept that everything in this system, from the background selected, the convictions chosen and even the simple choice of deciding to blood surge are all acts of storytelling taken by player and ST alike, then they will find themselves deeply immersed in the world and their games.
Cath is a gamemaster with a keen undwerstanding of pacing and momentum. Every scene is dripping with atmosphere whether it's from the position your characters find themselves in, or the keen attention to detail and atmospheric choices that are made, you will absolutely be immersed in the genre and the fiction. The hours of the session will melt away and you will find yourselves pining for the next session.
I don't even know where to begin. This man is a Storyteller and while his worlds have their own stories and their own layers of intrigue the players might never see he is still here first and foremost to facilitate you telling the story of your characters with as much or as little input as you give you'll find your characters being taken in directions that you couldn't have anticipated. If you're looking for a game where you can fully manifest your character then this is the storyteller for you.
