Though I didn't have the pleasure of fully playing with Jess, her approach to our one-on-one session 0 was incredibly impressive. She demonstrated exceptional dedication to setting up a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment, meticulously walking me through expectations, boundaries, and themes. Jess' attention to detail in setting the stage for the campaign was refreshing, and it was clear she put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming atmosphere. Even though I didn’t get to experience the game beyond this initial meeting, her professionalism and genuine care for player experience make me confident she is a fantastic GM.

I’ve recently joined two of Kel's play-by-post games—one for Vaesen and another for Vampire: The Masquerade—and the experience for both has been amazing from the start! Kel is a GM who goes beyond the basics the mechanics; they're incredibly kind, patient, and always willing to work with you to shape the story. Kel has a natural talent for collaboration, and encourages everyone to bring our characters to life, by weaving our ideas into the game’s unfolding narrative. Their flexibility and openness to input to create a welcoming environment is deeply appreciated. I recommend Kel to anyone looking for a dedicated GM who’s as passionate about storytelling as they are about making sure players have a genuinely enjoyable experience! Update: Although Vaesen ended up not being for me, I’m now in two Vampire: The Masquerade games that Kel is running, and I’m having the best time. I couldn’t recommend Kel more as a GM! I look forward to playing every day, which is such a wonderful feeling.

Thank you so much for everything Cid. Original Review: I've joined two of Cid's Play-by-Post games, and I've had the very best time already. The experience has been absolutely phenomenal, and I could not recommend them more highly! Cid puts an incredible amount of time, effort and work into their games, and it truly shows in every aspect. Every single post written by Cid is meticulously crafted and richly detailed. He has an exceptional talent for setting the scene and bringing characters to life! The vivid descriptions and carefully constructed narratives really make you feel like you're a part of the world, and it's something special. Cid also has amazing versatility as a GM. The two games I joined, a Cyberpunk Superhero game and one reminiscent of Animal Crossing/Stardew Valley, are obviously quite different. Despite the differences, Cid manages to capture the essence of both settings perfectly, and provides unique and engaging experiences in each. His ability to switch between different genres and maintain such a high level of quality in both is just amazing! Yep, I'm amazed! Also, I am brand new to the Marvel Heroes FASERIP system, and Cid (and the other players) have helped me every step of the way. I've had a million questions, and Cid's patience and time have been invaluable. I find his own description of himself as a foul mouthed asshole to be incredible funny, as Cid is incredibly kind, considerate and supportive. If you're looking for a GM who will go above and beyond to deliver an exceptional Play-by-Post experience, look no further than Cid!

I haven't had the chance to play in a game with this Storyteller just yet, but I am already incredibly impressed by their dedication and passion to the games they run, such as their Portland Vampire: The Masquerade game. Their meticulous prep work is truly outstanding. For example, they created a plethora of well-developed NPCs, each with their own backstory and motivations, and they had a large variety of premade characters ready for players who may need them, ensuring that everyone can jump into the game easily. What really stood out to me the most though was their willingness to work closely with the players to help sort out important details about their characters, if the help was needed. They take the time to understand your character's background, goals, and personality, in order to best integrate these elements into the narrative. This level of care and attention is very apparent, and it's clear that they love the game deeply.

Though I've only played one session with Myst as the Storyteller for a "Vampire: The Masquerade, 5th Edition" game, I can personally attest to their extraordinary abilities. Myst’s knack for immersive worldbuilding, coupled with their skill in facilitating deep roleplay, made the experience incredibly engaging and fun. They excelled at making the adventure accessible, ensuring that even as a complete beginner of the game and system, I felt fully included and valued in the narrative. Myst creates an environment where every player, regardless of experience, can dive deep into the rich, dark world they craft, making for an unforgettable adventure. I high recommend trying out one of their games; I'm definitely counting down the days until session 2! Update: I've now played two more sessions with Myst and can still only say the best things about his Storyteller skills. He took more of a back seat for part of session 2, just to give us the freedom to roleplay amongst ourselves and build the relationships between our player characters, which was great. He had a lot of exposition to deliver to us in session 3, but it always felt incredibly important, was delivered perfectly in character and was fascinating to learn. It was never out of place and never felt like too much. I love being one of his players!
