Hello! My name is Carl and I’ve been DMing for the last 9 years. What I bring to the table is a fun and interesting method of story telling that uses my background in psychology to really make the journeys of my players feel fun and fulfilling. I got started GMing...
As most do, I imagine. Friends and family wanted to play but no one wanted to GM. Turns out, I actually really enjoyed being the GM and so I never really went back to being a player! Not for long, anyway! I love building worlds for people to explore too much!

How Carl D. runs games
I would say that my GM style is very fluid. I am a big believer that everyone at the table should have a say in what they want the game to look and feel like. I pride myself in matching my story to my players wants while maintaining a world that both challenges and excites. I would also consider myself more of a “rule of cool” DM as opposed to a “by the book” DM. I’ve been known to do some character voices before and will really get into some roleplay while offering unique and fun combat and puzzle challenges.
