I had a good time playing in Fable's Titles and Tribulations one-shot. With many years of D&D under my belt I thought I knew where this adventure was heading, but Fable pulled out all the stops and threw me for a loop, the narrative did NOT go the way I anticipated and I enjoyed the twist and being surprised by the outcome.
I really enjoyed playing Breakout at Revel's End. I don't normally play one-shots with pre-generated characters, but Bruno developed some very intriguing backstories for them and had a very unique system for distributing the characters among the players. The actual adventure had a great mix of combat, role-play, and problem-solving opportunities. The combat felt risky and we had the chance to come up with some off-the-wall solutions to our challenges. The Rule of Cool was definitely in use and made for a very fun adventure.
