It was a complete honor to be able to play in Diego’s one-shot! My partner and I were fortunate enough to watch him live at one of his Twenty Sided Tavern shows, and I knew his improv and storytelling skills would be the highlight of the game. Diego made great use of a thematic setting and had wonderful characters that kept me engaged and caring about the story, which can be difficult to pull off in a one-shot. He did a fantastic job of starting the group off in media res combat to pull us in, gave us thrilling roleplay encounters with memorable NPCs, awesome environmental puzzles that creativity turned what would have been normal skill check encounters into a fun mini-games, and of course, a climatic boss fight with a dragon! Like, what else could a Forever DM™ ask for? (hehe, see what I did there?) I don’t get the chance to play often, but with Diego, I was in good hands. You will be, too!

Mike is such a wonderful game master! He makes the game feel welcoming, fun, and immersive, and he always makes sure everyone has a chance to get the spotlight. His creative adversaries and on-the-spot storytelling make each session exciting, and he is a literal expert with the Daggerheart system! I’ve really enjoyed being at his table and would happily play in one of his games again anytime!

Ajna was such a superb game master! I joined one of her unique Daggerheart one-shots set in Wildemount and had a phenomenal time. After playing the Sablewood Messengers introductory game, I was looking for something fresh and Ajna delivered! She is fantastic at getting a group of strangers to collaborate, providing a hook for the party based on those connections created at the table, and also is very masterful at the pacing needed to move the game forward to high intensity moments! And her NPCs are very memorable! She provides just enough detailed description to get you to visualize the distinct characteristics of the people you’ll meet, and provides great voices to bring them to life in your mind. I definitely recommend playing a game with Ajna when you have the chance! You need to experience her games for yourself! ✨
