Wettz did a terrific job with our Scum & Villainy one-shot: patient, creative, dynamic dming. He dropped in just enough lore to evoke that Star Wars vibe, leveraged his familiarity with the system to keep the pace moving, but allowed the story to be driven by our choices. It genuinely felt like we were playing an episode of Andor! Definitely recommend!
Amna is an exceptional Dungeon Master whose commitment to inclusivity and safety creates an environment where every player feels valued and heard. Her adept use of visual aids and sound effects, which are showcased brilliantly through her stunning Foundry Virtual Tabletop setup, elevate the "virtual" aspects of the game. What sets her apart is her technical prowess and her encouragement of player creativity, fostering a collaborative storytelling dynamic that seems to keep adventurers eagerly returning to her table.
Zipperon went everywhere we took him! Flying carpet right past the first room? No problem! Split the party in a theatre of the mind? He made it look easy! Bluffs, blags, disguises, illusory decoy Balor? All handled by the NPCs in a way that felt like the DM was not just running our adventure; he was running WITH it! I leapt at the chance to play with Zipperon after watching his YouTube videos on Pacing, and the best praise I can give is that he practices what he preaches: fantastic flow in a fun, friendly, challenging, dynamic adventure!
