I've played in one of Jay's games for about 6 years and it's the reason I have fallen in love with TTRPGs and D&D. The experience was my first campaign and I often wish I could get that feeling back of playing in a long-form, epic campaign where the DM truly allows you to delve into the mindset of the character. The world always felt real, and the stakes always felt high, and the friends he introduced me to remain some of my best. I remember being motivated for hours after the session to flesh out my characters motivations and plan out the next moves. I hope everyone gets to experience a game like that!
Been playing with Seb for years, and I've always been taken by the creativity and thought put into his homebrew setting. Being able to develop a character and interact with this world has been a blast. If you play in the same setting, sorry for any ongoing ramifications. We did the best with what we had.
Pendulym is a riveting world builder. Her ability to develop a setting and draw you into it is unparalleled in my experience and it makes we want to return each week to further develop my characters place in her world. You can tell how devoted she is to seeing the consequences and desires of the players play out in game and in the broader sense of the setting as a whole. It is very cool how she incorporates the effects of past games/players in the same universe. I look forward to gaming with her through the coming weeks/months!
