Zoom has been vital for me as GM, it's easy to use and has more features than discord. There is less lag, i find discord has a delay. That said, I paid for both a boost to discord and the pro version of Zoom. If you’re a serious GM, use Zoom or something like it. Discord isn't robust enough for anything beyond communication

I run Strixhaven inside of Exandria, but even then the lore and history of Strixhaven is awe-inspiring, GM's will love this game, PC's will love this game. Everyone will. This is a heavy roleplay module I find, and it lacks a lot of details. Some GM's will find that annoying but I used it as an opportunity to enter in additional mechanics to help it feel like a school. This is a homebrew friendly module. The NPC's are vast and diverse and you will love discovering Xanther and Aurora, and my personal favourite Dean Tullus. The adventure is well done and captivating while not feeling forced or rail roading, the pacing can be tough to manage at times but with a little creativity it is manageable. I think this module is great for introducing DND to people since many liken it to "Harry Potter meets DND" which is not inaccurate! It presents a chance to teach PCs in a literal educational environment, while also giving experienced PCs many new aspects and mechanics to stay engaged

There is nothing that comes close to the lore of Exandria for me. This world is so rich and detailed, yet so open and ready to be added too. There are endless hooks and threads to pull in this world. Call of the Netherdeep is the cherry on top of this setting and the world. COTN delves deep into the lore and history of Exandria. The gods, the calamity, heroes of the past and present, are all here to be discovered. Untold reveals of Critical Role lore come out in this module. IF you love CR, you will love this module. The adventure on it's own merits is my favourite. The Rivals are amazing NPC's and the paths you take to get to the end are endless. Each retelling of COTN is likely to be different despite the story seeming to be so linear. Your actions affect the story. You will discover tragic and amazing characters and be forced to make terrible and great decisions that will shape Exandria forever. This story even gives you the chance to meet characters featured on stream! 10/10

DND 5e is the standard for TTRPG for a reason. The most diverse game system for you to play with the most support. Yes, other systems are better at niche and specific thigns, but nothing comes close to the game variations and robust game play. The rules are simplified and fun to follow, character creation is incredibly unique, a party of Wizards can still be different from each other and feel special. That speaks to what you can do with this game. The adventures can take you from space to the extraplanar realms or even modern day ages. It's incredible for world building and the depth of the campaign settings are as deep as they are varied. There is 100% going to be a world you will fall in love with. All you have to do is createa character and they will come to life in these worlds. No matter your age or skill level, DND 5e has something to offer you and you will continue to be surprised at the adventures you find and the stories you will create at the table. Don't wait, just play!

You will be sorry if you miss your chance to play at this table. If you can play DnD with Lilly, you should do it. As a forever GM type, I finally cannot say that now! Lilly puts so much effort into her campaign, she has created custom trackers for classes. She has built out the lore into a living and breathing world. Each character is played like an individual PC and the immersion of the world is deep. She creates a safe place for players to be themselves and to have fun together. I was immediately accepted at the table, with each of the players going out of their way to include me and bring me into the game. I've always thought that the sign of a great GM is great players and she has many. The narrative is rich and she is great at working with you to create a character story you will have fun playing, and she is excited about your backstory and finding a way to use it in her world. Perfect for new and old players alike, you will find the games to be fun and engaging each session.
