About me
I'm a professional science fiction and fantasy author, ttrpg designer, and actual play producer. I've been playing ttrpgs for about thirty years and GMing for at least twenty. My GMing style combines collaborative improv with my worldbuilding and story-crafting skills as a novelist. I'm great at action-adventure and detailed fight scenes, which show up in my fiction as well. My books include a geeky urban fantasy series, found family space opera, political epic fantasy, dimension-hopping science fiction, and more. I've been a bookseller, sales representative, and was the North American Sales & Marketing Manager for Angry Robot Books. I'm a co-host of the actual play show Speculate! and a guest host on the Hugo Award-finalist The Skiffy and Fanty Show. I wrote my M.A. thesis on TTRPGs and love putting theory intro practice for ever more-powerful game experiences.

I played in a level 1-14 5e west marches-ish campaign with dave in his original setting. dave managed a group of over a dozen players, created an absurd number of homebrew items and spells customized to our characters, built intricate and rewarding downtime subsystems, and facilitated several novels' worth of player-to-player text RP. Happy memories of that campaign will live with me always, and if you're looking for a GM that brings intentionality to the table and a steady supply of sassy NPCs, sign up for a game with dave today.
If you're looking for fun adventure with a focus on characterization, Terra is a great choice. She's very good at facilitating role-playing moments, describing visions and dreams and other trappings of heroic fantasy. She runs combats with a strong thread of the rule of cool, like letting my Fighter charge up a hill and leap onto a flying monster's back to wail on it with my halberd and then grab it and pilot it down for a safe crash landing. An absolute delight.
Kevin has a wealth of knowledge of voice acting and vocal technique as it applies to playing/GMing rpgs and offered specific and actionable feedback during the vocal technique class I took. I learned both from the feedback he gave me and the feedback given to the other person in the class. If you're a player or GM looking to take your performance chops up to the next level and protect your voice while doing so, take one of Kevin's voice classes or make a special request!
Khitan is a fun, supportive GM that prioritizes safety. For me, his DMing style in combat is among the best I've ever played D&D with across 30 years playing ttrpgs. Additionally, he runs a thorough session zero to orient players in the setting as well as the VTT tools. Khitan has put a *ton* of time into his VTT setup to streamline the parts of play that can get bogged down (namely combat) as well as to provide tons of visual aids for settings and characters. He is great at soliciting feedback and input about what people like and what people want to see more of. I got a "How Do You Want To Do This"-level moment in the first combat where I got to describe the cinematic death of the main enemy in a group - Khitan gave me the floor to embellish the moment and it was incredibly satisfying! If you want a GM that takes care of his players and makes the world come alive, take a look at Khitan's games.
