About me
Teller of tales, hoarder of TTRPs, smoker of pipes & cigars, coffee snob, adoring fan of dogs, sometimes writer, political doom-scroller, and voracious reader. I've been running or playing in D&D campaigns for almost 40 years. I've dabbled in many other TTRPG systems, and enjoy all different types of settings, rules systems, and play styles. I've been playing online via VTTs (Roll 20, Foundry, Alchemy RPG) for the last 10 years (in addition to my in-person games) and I'm comfortable with the tech needed to join games.

I've played (and continue to play!) in one of Badger's Shadowdark games. He sets the perfect table for old school play wherein player creativity and ingenuity is rewarded. He's friendly and patient, answers questions honestly and with an ear for what his players most want out of his games. He's also ruthless with random encounters, which makes his dungeons feel truly dangerous and filled with unseen perils! I highly recommend his games!
Had a fun time learning Shadowdark with Rob's guidance in a one-shot. He did a great job of showing us how to use Foundry, and was responsive and friendly when rules questions and "how to's" came up. He had us all setup in Discord ahead of the game night, and everything was ready to go for the session. Had a lot of fun and would recommend him for his friendly, supportive, relaxed presence at the table. Great GM!
Really great Vaesen game (run by Dan) that showcased the (awesome) abilities of the Alchemy platform. Dan knew how to use the platform and how to run the game with ease. He performed some excellent voices and his descriptions helped to set the spooky horror tone of the game setting. Just a great experience. Highly recommended!
