Pail The DM avatar

Pail The DM

I wish I could choose more tags for Pail. He is a wonderful GM who truly cares about the players and ensures the players are having fun above all. He's a great storyteller and he knows how to roll with the punches, even if he delt the punches to himself. He rewards creativity and cooperation. Overall, he fosters a great community of players and is a player-centric GM.

Marko is one of the BEST GMs I've had the pleasure to play with. He is exceptionally great at building a world and all the interactions you could possibly want. He creates worlds you want to be in.

Buzzo

Played 2 sessions

Buzzo is a fine GM. Their ability to tell the story is inviting and captivating. It is a bit difficult to inject your own flavor into the story if it doesn't perfectly fit within the parameters that the GM makes, but the player can't see. Blending PC and story was a struggle.

  Leo avatar

Leo

Leo is an amazing GM and a stellar roleplayer. He is wonderfully descriptive and really builds a world you can play in. He allows for players to add to the world, as well, with their creativity. He is quick to help you if you have a question and willing to work with you if you have a [reasonable] concept or idea you want to try out. He makes you look forward to the game each week!

Unfortunately Startplaying only allows you to select 3 tags to describe your GM, but Travis is far beyond just these 3 descriptors. He's a wonderfully kind GM, while also being incredibly creative and inventive. He makes sure that each player gets to shine in the spotlight. Even when you aren't in the spotlight, you still feel important and pivotal to the story. He makes sure that you understand what's going on and doesn't just throw you into the mix, which is extremely helpful for new players, especially. He let's you be silly and have fun with the party, but is also very good about keeping everyone on task (focused on playing DnD rather than going off on a tangent). The scenes he build are not only immersive, but beautifully crafted as well. You can truly feel as if your character is in these place, with a little imagination, of course. He walks you through how to use Foundry as well. So if you are new to it like I was, he is a great teacher! He works hard on his Discord server to make it a place that you want to hang out in even when you aren't in session. The community there, is so much fun and very welcoming. And I think that is because Travis makes it fun and inviting with all the extra fun additions that he has. What are those extra fun additions? You'll have to join to find out!
