About me
"Travis is a great storyteller and integrates player characters into his worlds extremely well. His worlds feel real and it's very easy to get lost in the moment. One of the greatest feelings I have from his games is that I feel that I was there, instead of a quiet observer, I feel my characters have stakes and choices. Travis is a master at group building. He knows the characters well and suggests way to better mesh them together. All in all, it's probably the best experience I've had in D&D" Greetings Adventurers! My name is Travis and I've been makin' magic happen at the tabletop since the 20th century. If you like a fun & immersive table with heroics, traditional fantasy energy, player agency, and light comedy - let's roll the dice together!
GM Style
My style is player-centric above all. Finding ways to tie in character backgrounds and making players feel like the heroes of the tale are what makes me tick. I aim to be a RAW (Rules as written) DM, but am known to adjust rulings based on RAI (Rules as intended) & the rule of cool. I also like giving NPC's voices and doing what I can to maximize immersion/ verisimilitude. My worldbuilding tends to be grounded in realism rather than steeped in high fantasy. A sense of scale/ power progression is something I value and pay attention to.

Had a wonderful session with Travis. A true master of his VT (Foundry), it was amazing to see the wonderful artwork he used to create an immersive atmosphere. His NPCs were fun to interact with and the session ended with a very challenging battle against the end boss that required some strategy and planning. It was fun from the start until the last minute! I hope he'll offer some more one-shots every now and then :)
Travis takes a very thorough approach to what he does in a game - immersive atmosphere, collaborative relationships with his players, and a genuine desire to make sure people are having a safe, fun time. As a neurodivergent player who struggles sometimes with social interaction, he's gone out of his way (as do the other players at his table) to let me ease into being a part of the game, and he listens to his players about the things we do and do not prefer at the table. He is absolutely worth your time and treasure to play with.
I had the pleasure of playing in DM Travis's Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign, and it was an exceptional experience. He excels at creating an immersive atmosphere, blending compelling voice acting with curated atmospheric music that truly brings the world to life. Travis is not only a talented storyteller but also incredibly kind and professional. He fosters a collaborative environment and is always open to feedback and suggestions from the players, ensuring everyone feels heard and valued. His technical expertise in running games through FoundryVTT is top-notch. From dynamic maps to seamless mechanics, he shows mastery over the platform and patiently teaches those new to the system. If you’re looking for a DM who combines immersive storytelling, technical proficiency, and a supportive gaming environment, Travis is an outstanding choice. Highly recommended!
