This is my favourite GM so far! I did a one-shot and would happily play lots more games with Sovaelis. Their narration and mood-setting made the experience really immersive, they gave us a good variety of settings and gameplay styles, with great pacing overall and a satisfying ending. She also managed to keep everything moving along quickly, never dragging, even in somewhat complicated combat, while still giving us players lots of freedom. I also appreciated their clear communication before and outside of the game. Everything from clearly describing the safety tools, to how efficiently she gave us a little Foundry tutorial at the beginning without barely losing time and yet never feeling rushed. Truly great.

By far the most engaging GM I've had so far. I played a one-shot and would love to play again. The puzzles and world-building were both really engaging, and Ammy was fantastic at setting the tone and drawing us in to the different story moments from start to finish. Ammy was also very friendly and easy to communicate with beforehand, in terms of what character prep was needed etc. Definitely would love to play with Ammy again!!

I played twice in Alan's West-Marches style campaign (one-shots, but with a continuing story in a world of Alan's creation - very cool). Alan was welcoming and helpful - I'm still fairly new to the game, and to online play, and any of us players got help when we needed it but without the gameplay feeling bogged down.

Great world-building and immersive roleplay, good at getting us all involved, and great at incorporating our choices and good/bad rolls into the story. On all these points I think they're the best GM I've had so far on this site. I have only one complaint, about time management. We were slow/exploratory players, and our session had a slow start due to tech; unfortunately this meant that the GM ended it on a quite abrupt cliffhanger, which I found unsatisfying for a one-shot. Although I liked that the GM gave us a lot of agency, I wish they had perhaps narrated past a few things, so that we could get a better conclusion. I suppose next time as a player I will try to keep a better eye on the clock and bring this up myself; but I did kind of assume that the GM would handle it. BTW, it was a very low-priced session (apparently intended to let new players test whether they want to join his regular games), which mitigates the issue a bit. I really enjoyed the other aspects though!

I had a great time at the table. There were clear guidelines to help me along (with one of my first times playing online, and my first time playing a particular character type), and a solid structure for the story that was very helpful for a short one-shot, but there was also plenty of space made for me to make choices and affect the story. I also appreciated that, even though the game was on very short notice, time was still taken for a short "session 0" - describing types of content, safety tools, etc. Even if I don't typically need these tools, knowing that someone cares about their players' wishes (and doesn't assume they can always guess) just adds a little bit of extra comfort and makes me feel my game-money is supporting a thoughtful and supportive GM.
