Dylan is a great GM. I had a blast playing a "Mutants & Masterminds" game he ran, and other players spoke of how they enjoyed themselves. "M&M" has a lot of options and can be unbalanced if handled poorly. Dylan was upfront about what options were available and which weren't, always keeping in mind how everyone at the table could have their time in the spotlight and have fun together. As a world builder, Dylan provided a corner of "M&M's" default setting with plenty of problems to solve, and that the PCs needed to be the ones to solve them. Dylan portrayed NPCs distinctly and with clear motivations. Dylan's descriptions were evocative and put us players in our character's shoes, right in the thick of things. 10/10, would game again. If you have the opportunity to play with Dylan, you're in for a good time.

Andrew hosted a "Learn to play Lancer" one shot I attended. The rule system for the various giant robots the game is famous for is also famously for and I was worried it'd be hard to follow. Andrew was patient and clear. I think I learnt a lot about the Lancer rules system and it was easy to play with it. Likewise there was enthusiasm from my fellow players and Andrew was able to answer their questions as well. I kept my "Neon Genesis Evangelion" boxset on the table beside me as we played. I think Andrew transported us all into the very big shoes of giant robots and we all had a good time.
