About me

Hey there! My name is Kal and I’ve been playing Dungeons & Dragons since I was 13, for around eight years, and I love tables that dabble in storytelling, heavy roleplaying and crunchy combat. I know the rules well and am always happy to help newer players learn the game, whether that means explaining character options or helping through combat. I want everyone to feel comfortable getting involved, without being overwhelmed by mechanics. Personally, I am an unapologetic min-maxer. I love clever builds, strong party synergy, difficult encounters, and finding the most satisfying way to make a party's abilities click together. That said, I am just as here for ridiculous plans, running jokes, chaotic roleplay, and moments that make the whole table laugh. My favourite games make room for both the comedy that comes from a party of adventurers making questionable decisions, and the genuinely powerful dramatic moments that make those characters feel real. I also love to encourage players to get into roleplay at whatever pace feels comfortable for them. Whether you already enjoy fully inhabiting your character or are trying roleplay for the first time, I am always happy to help create a welcoming table where everyone can find their voice.
