Starting this campaign has been an absolutely incredible experience, and a huge part of that is thanks to our DM. From the very first session, their energy, creativity, and passion completely pulled everyone into the world. The storytelling is engaging, the pacing is smooth, and every player feels like their character truly matters. What really stands out is how well they balance structure with freedom—giving us room to be creative while still guiding the adventure in exciting and meaningful ways. The attention to detail, immersive descriptions, and willingness to adapt to player choices make every session something to look forward to. Whether it’s intense combat, clever puzzles, or fun roleplay moments, our DM delivers it all with confidence and enthusiasm. Honestly, I couldn’t ask for a better start to a campaign. If this is just the beginning, we’re in for something truly special.

I signed up expecting a beginner-friendly D&D one-shot, but it ended up feeling more like a practice session for the DM than an actual adventure. There was only a single monster encounter the entire game, and the pacing felt flat with very little story, exploration, or meaningful player interaction. The biggest issue was that the session seemed focused on the DM learning how to run a Red Dragon rather than creating an enjoyable experience for the players. I understand everyone starts somewhere, but that should have been communicated upfront as a test or practice game. If I had known that beforehand, my expectations would have been different. Overall, it didn’t feel like a complete one-shot experience, and I left disappointed.
