About me
I am fairly new to D&D. I've only played a few times and then my DM friend moved away. I'd like to try my hands at DMing but I'm a bit nervous (and it's hard to get a group together). I was hoping to play with a few groups and learn or maybe just find a regular game online to scratch my itch. I like the immersion / character development aspect more than the fantasy or world-building part... My introduction and interest to D&D came through boardgames and comic books. I'm a big fan of physical dice and theatre of the mind.

Loaf is an amazing GM! He is very patient and accomodating both in and out of game and makes sure every player gets involved in the story. He is great at helping guide novice players and has an answer ready whenever a question arises—even involving the new 5.5e rules, which he's also homebrewed to fit his world and campaign. He took 1-on-1 time in and before session Zero to help craft my character idea and even incorporated elements of his campaign into my backstory (and vice versa). He is also very knowledgeable on the VTT and provides in-game music, voices, and sound effects. One of the best DnD experiences I've had with people I've never actually met.
Great GM for beginners! Walked us through character creation and D&D Beyond. Allowed us to fail and make poor choices, but also gave guidance when we completely went off the rails and missed a detail or messed something up...which was a lot. Kept the game moving and included everyone!
