My first experience playing VTM was at Ryan's table and he was great. He does a great job of guiding the party through the story without inhibiting our creativity, curiosity, and freedom, which is a hard balance to strike for mystery chronicles!

Leland is a fantastic GM. I am confident it will always be a rich experience anytime I am at his table because he is not only naturally talented at GMing, he also has clearly worked hard to hone that skill through tons of experience and it SHOWS. I am delighted to participate in his campaigns, I only just started using SPG and it was so cool to find a GM so soon who has without a doubt earned my repeat business. Leland is respectful, engaging, enthusiastic, and committed. Something particularly enjoy is that during session, Leland weaves in moments of character development in a really masterful way, totally seamless (as opposed to feeling like an aside) and genuinely interesting questions that for me have been very effective in helping me get to know my own character better, which is amazing as a beginner who is still finding my roleplaying sea legs (apropos, since we are in a Ghosts of Saltmarsh pirate campaign!). For example, at the end of a day on our ship, our characters were going to bed. Instead of skipping right to the next day, Leland asked us to share what our characters miss about home, when all the day’s work is done and we’re settled in for the night, thinking of home. Seamless character development moment, totally fit in the scene, PLUS a substantive, thought-provoking question that had us focus on and develop really fundamental aspects of a character. The game is atmospheric with sound effects, and the visuals on Roll20, etc., are great for immersion and giving it a classic, old-school feel like an in-person table has with maps and minis. I feel so lucky to have found such a professional, skilled GM so early on in my ventures on SPG! Leland also holds events and streams in the Discord server, which I’ve found to be a welcoming and active space.

Eric is an inclusive and engaging GM who keeps a positive energy at the table. I had a good time playing Masks for the first time with him at the helm; Eric was attentive to the fact that I was brand new to the system and also did a good job with weaving me in as the campaign had already had some sessions before I joined.

Jonathan is a naturally gifted storyteller that takes care to make sure everyone at the table is spotlighted and included. His enthusiasm for players' characters and ideas is apparent and brightens the experience. His pacing was very good and there was a lot of creativity at the table. I played a one=shot with Jonathan and was very impressed by the depth, thoughtfulness, and excitement in the experience. I will definitely be coming back for more games in the future with Jonathan!
