Milo's session on Improv was extremely helpful and was just what I needed to get a better grasp on ways to shape my campaigns with ideas from my players. I had an understanding of improv for comedy but it was a great foundation in how to think about the concept when it comes to GMing. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a way to grow as a GM.
Zac is one of the best I've had so far in my TTRPG journey the last few months. Great narration, attention to detail and music. He leaves a lot of room for RP but does what he can to keep things on track. He did a great job smoothly integrating my character into the party partway through Stonewalkers and it's been great so far. I have learned alot about playing and GMing from this game and I'm excited to see how things resolve.
Once we got into the game things really took off and we had a lot of fun. I was extremly new to the Pirate Borg system, but Rusty made it easy and clear. WIt was very easy to get immersed as he left eh air open for RP. Sailing in a straight line unsuccessfully evading cannon fire with a cargo hold full of booty was so much more fun than it had any reason to be.
Empyrean was a great GM with a great voice and understanding of the game we played (Fallout RPG) which made getting into it very smooth. I signed up to check out the system as well as experience other GM styles and I definitely picked up some things to use in my own games for the future. Hopefully I can play with him again
This was my first run at the Cosmere RPG and a real TTRPG and the experience was great. It was easy to understand the rules and flow of the game as well as the VTT. We had a lot of opportunity to shape the game as players and we set the pace of the adventure. He was a nice mix of casual and serious and played into the nonsense when reasonable. Looking forward to more campaigns in the future.
