About me

I like both the role play aspects of a game and the crunch of systems. I want to be collaborative with the GM and players to tell a satisfying story together. And sticking with the themes and tone of the setting is very important to me and helps give direction on character creation. I’m most experienced with D&D and World of Darkness, but I’ve dabbled in many other systems. I’m actually looking forward to finding other systems to play here.

Caleb ran a home-brew haunted house mixed with eldritch horror that was a mystery dungeon crawl with plenty of combat. The battle maps, music, and even voice modulation all helped create an evocative and very creepy setting. He has a great grasp of narration and descriptive imagery as well. Though this was a short campaign that involved exploring a haunted house, there was still plenty of room for player choices to have impact. Caleb several times was able to pivot when we came up with creative solutions to problems. He is a very encouraging DM and created a delightful space to play in.
