Nathan has custom built a whole world and helps players tailor their characters to fit perfectly in to it. He brings interesting monsters, moderate moral dilemas & humour all to a fun game that I'm excited for every week of. He's very patient and implements the backstories you wish to explore into his world. He isn't needlessly stingey with loot and rewards and allows players to feel like their hard work pays off. Just beware of bugbears and make sure to not name your character Thaedus.
Zerbs works with the players. Wanna tie your backstory into the plot? Easy. Wanna try out a homebrew class? Sure, as long as you can justify its existence! Wanna craft containers from the skin of your enemies? You might traumatise the local city but go for it! He doesn't just say "no". If you can justify it and are willing to stomach the consequences, Zerbs'll make it work and that keeps his games fun and engaging. Just be wary of Dryads if he's DMing, our poor warforged will never be the same.
Excellent DM. Every player in the campaign has aspects of their backstory implemented in game. Every player is heard and respected, you're never ignored. Every battle is... a battle! Fights last over 5 turns and force players to use their resources. If your enemy is decked out in sick loot, you get that sick loot. Every character is a person with their own quirks, personality and (usually) art. Every session is a blast, every interaction is interesting and every part of me is glad I chose Erin as my DM. Would recommend!
