I played in Monsters of Millennium High, a two-shot run by Adam (He/Him), and it was an absolute blast from start to finish. The whole session had a relaxed, funny, and collaborative vibe that made it easy to jump right into the world. One of my favorite moments was when I made an in-character PowerPoint presentation for the group — Adam rewarded it with an Inspiration point, which really showed how much he encourages and celebrates player creativity. He did an excellent job with atmosphere, pacing, storytelling, and world-building. The game flowed naturally, the tone stayed light and engaging, and it always felt like we were part of something memorable. I’d highly recommend Adam to story-driven players, creative role-players, and especially beginners who want a welcoming, enjoyable experience. This was one of the most lighthearted and fun sessions I’ve had in a long time!
Thee Silvery Bard is an outstanding Keeper who knows exactly how to keep a table engaged from start to finish. His pacing is impeccable — there’s never a slow beat or wasted moment. Every scene feels purposeful, with the story always moving forward in a way that feels natural and player-driven. His worldbuilding is exceptional. NPCs aren’t just background — they feel alive, reacting and evolving with the choices we make. It gives the game a real sense of depth and immersion, like the world continues to turn even when we’re not looking. He also has a great eye (and ear) for atmosphere. His use of music and visuals brings every scene to life — from eerie hallways to tense confrontations — and creates a cinematic, gothic vibe that perfectly matches Monster of the Week’s tone. He focuses on storytelling, mystery, and character interaction over endless combat, which makes every session feel rich and personal. Each player gets space to shine and contribute meaningfully to the unfolding story. In short: Thee Silvery Bard is a master storyteller and timekeeper who creates immersive, character-driven experiences full of style, emotion, and mystery. ⭐ 5/5 — One of the best Keepers I’ve played with. Highly recommend for anyone who loves well-paced, story-rich games with incredible atmosphere.
Before the session even began, SG went above and beyond in helping players prepare. She was incredibly generous with her time on Discord, offering thoughtful guidance on creating character sheets and patiently explaining both the mechanics and the setting to anyone who needed it. Her support made joining the game feel smooth and welcoming, even for those completely new to the system. During the game, SG’s GMing style really shone. She was excellent at teaching the rules in an intuitive way, resolving situations quickly and fairly while keeping the pace lively. Her storytelling and world descriptions were vivid and immersive, drawing everyone into the setting. Most impressively, she made sure every player had a chance to shine—gently bringing quieter voices into the spotlight and ensuring that the narrative flowed naturally from one scene to the next. The whole experience felt cohesive, dynamic, and genuinely collaborative.
I started my adventure with this DM through a solo 1:1 Session 0, and it was the perfect way to begin. They took the time to understand my playstyle, goals, and character concept, helping shape the story and mechanics so that everything felt cohesive and personal right from the start. Combat at this table is a major highlight — fast-paced, creative, and full of tactical depth. The world itself features immortals and powerful figures, so players who enjoy mechanically strong characters or testing out well-equipped builds will love it here. The DM is also very open to homebrew subclasses and features, especially when they help align your character concept with the broader world. Even during fights, there’s a strong sense of player autonomy; you’re encouraged to try out cool ideas, and the DM often suggests interesting options to help newer players make the most of their turns. The roleplay side of things is just as strong. The DM creates a world that feels alive, full of meaningful choices and opportunities for character development. Story moments flow naturally from your actions, and there’s always space for creativity and improvisation. What really sets this DM apart is the streamed physical table setup, complete with 3D-printed miniatures and a variety of detailed maps. It feels so much closer to sitting around an in-person table than a typical virtual setup, and it makes battles and exploration feel that much more immersive. If you’re looking for a DM who supports long-term campaigns with consistent storytelling, deep worldbuilding, and a balance between strong mechanics and great roleplay, this is the perfect table. Every session feels like part of something larger, and the experience is both polished and personal. Highly recommended!
I had a lot of fun playing under Nathaniel! His GMing style really encourages player-driven storytelling, with plenty of ways to approach challenges and shape the adventure collaboratively. The world felt interconnected and cozy, with meaningful ties between the characters that made the experience even richer. I especially appreciated how Nathaniel rewarded creative problem-solving and embraced unexpected player ideas. Moments that could have been small or silly ended up becoming some of the most memorable and entertaining parts of the game thanks to his flexibility and great sense of humor. As someone still learning Daggerheart, I found Nathaniel’s clear understanding of the rules incredibly helpful. He explained things patiently, answered questions efficiently, and made sure everyone at the table felt supported and engaged. Overall, Nathaniel runs a warm, collaborative, and fun table that makes it easy to get immersed and be creative — I’d happily play in one of his games again!
