About me
I'm a writer with various introvert hobbies: making art, gaming, reading books, board games, etc. One of my goals this year has been to learn new TTRPGs, although generally, I enjoy OSR problem-solving and narrative systems; I'm not into games with a focus on tactical combat.

I joined Ben's game in a session last night and he was an excellent GM: well-prepared, eloquent and friendly. I'm not used to Roll20 but his setup on it was very intuitive and he walked us through the setup and game rules as we played. I liked the visuals he provided: they were concrete enough to give a good sense of the place we were exploring, while still leaving room for the imagination. My favorite part was probably the pacing: we did a tutorial + full one-shot in a single session but it never felt rushed as Ben was good at balancing giving players room to discuss plans vs. moving the adventure along when the group was at a loss.
I joined GT's introductory session for Mythic Bastionland and he was both patient and well-prepared for the adventure. He did a good job of explaining the rules as the game went along and avoiding dumping them all at once. Was a nice session with plenty of opportunity for players to dictate the direction of the adventure.
