About Noodle
Well met Adventurers! ✨ Hello everyone! My name is Noodle, and I am your humble Dungeon Master for hire! I have over 25 years of experience leading countless adventurers into dark endless dungeons, navigating political intrigue, solving noir style mysteries, surviving realms of nightmares, and being whisked away into worlds of imagination and wonder. 🎬 Storytelling has been in my life from an incredibly young age. Books and movies were consumed in mass. Video games, with their rich and deep storylines, filled my mind and fueled my creativity. I would endlessly write short stories and comic book adventures. That is, until I played D&D. Immediately, the role of Dungeon Master called to me. The rules of the game are fine and dandy, but what really drew me in was the storytelling. With a whisper and a word, worlds spawned from the corners of my mind. NPC’s come to life and become your greatest companions or your worst villains. A blank room becomes a grand ballroom filled with secrets and espionage. The world is a stage, and all I need is the actors. 📜 My greatest joy is creating a world where players, like YOU, can jump right in and play out your characters greatest adventures. Craft the character of your dreams with goals and flaws and fulfill their story arcs while on a daring high stakes adventure. Find love, fight villains, save innocence, seek riches, and right the wrongs that I have laid out before you. Unite with fellow players, bond over hardships and tragedies, and celebrate the good times, the simple times, and the times we share together. 🌈 As your Narrator, I bring a genuine love for collaborative storytelling and world building. It doesn’t matter if you are an experienced player or if you are trying roleplaying games for the first time, I craft each session to make sure that everyone is included and has a chance to enjoy the limelight. All people are welcome and included in this safe place where you can explore and have fun! ⚔️ So pack your bags, grab your dice, and bring a pal! The call to adventure is ringing true in the deeps. Do you have what it takes to change the world and join in on the adventure of a lifetime? Let’s find out, together!

I became a GM because
my original DM would get tired of running a long form game and they would usually fizzle out. Our friend group became increasingly more frustrated that carefully crafted backstories would be ignored and campaigns would suddenly end. So I took up the mantle of DM and never looked back.
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
Creative: Each area we enter is unique in it's own way. The people who inhabit it have their own way of life. Intricate: The plot constantly loops on itself and feels like nothing has been left to chance. Caring: I want each player to fulfil their characters backstories! It's important to me.
How Noodle runs games
I love collaborative storytelling and roleplaying. There's something special about building a character and watching them go through a full arc, achieving their dreams or accomplishing their personal goals. It's a sense of accomplishment that purely leveling up just can't touch. If you enjoy Roleplaying, exploring the emotional depths of your characters, and maybe throwing in a silly voice here and there, then you're going to have a great time.

I deal with rules issues by...
having a discussion with the players. We agree to terms that are accepted by the party and move on from there. Sometimes there are hard rules, but those are usually only enforced during the peak of an arc and are needed for the story. For every day encounters, there is always room for flexibility.
My games focus on...
roleplaying and realism. If you attack the King or murder indiscriminantly, there are consiquences to pay. I think it forces players to be more creative and cleaver with solutions. Not every confrontation needs a fight scene. Sometimes words can cut deeper than a blade.
Rules are...
a negotiation between the players and the DM. While I to enjoy playing "rules as written" for the simplicity, sometimes a creative plan is so absurd that it breaks the rules... but we NEED it to happen. In that instance, the Rule of Cool is definitely applied.
