This was my first time playing Monster of the Week, and Soap made it a completely brilliant and immersive experience; she was very attentive to every single player character, had vivid NPCs and settings, and was a pro at finding ways to reflect rolls in the narrative and allowing us to try some really buck-wild stuff to create a thrilling scene for all of us. I can't wait to play this game again, and I'll be at her table as often as she can put up with me <3
Joesph ran an absolutely brilliant one-shot for five of us and it created a really brilliant "squad" of players who definitely want to play again together — which I think is a real merit of a DM when they can bring the best out of their players and enable us to create a team dynamic! He was brilliant with letting us try things out and ensuring everybody got their moment to shine as part of the group, and I would totally recommend these one-shots to anyone looking for a fun romp with a high level of challenge. :) P.S. Praise Bob, and long live the Carpet Stealers!
Ry-Guy was the most amazing GM I've had in a long time playing D&D, and I was quite nervous about delving back in particularly with a group I didn't know — but he assuaged all of these things! I was so privileged to be a part of the game, and I would totally play again at his table; he created such an immersive experience for all of us and really appreciated our creative choices — above all I certainly felt encouraged!
