I cannot recommend the welcoming environment of Mark's table enough! As a new player (<6mo.), it was such a reassurance to have a DM who knew the world so thoroughly. Because Mark deeply understands the game, I felt safer to make bold choices, ask questions, and find my way. He was incredibly responsive and actively took suggestions and ideas from players as to what they wanted their experience to look like. Truly, even if you have even the smallest idea, he knows how and where to take it! But I appreciate that even when I took big swings, he made me feel supported and made storytelling the priority. Had I not had to leave due to scheduling issues, I'm sure I would have learned a tremendous amount not only about game mechanics but also my own style as a player. He's patient, kind, and has a great sense of humor- and I'm positive that if you're a more seasoned player you'll find Mark to be a formidable DM!
