Had a one shot of Shadowdark with WikerGames and it was really amazing! GM ran the game on FoundryVTT and we had a very immersive game with one of the coolest maps I have seen. It is obvious how much time and work went into choreographing the sound, lighting, and map reveal surprises that made the game play so fun. GM runs Foundry very well and had no problems making sheets work or adding tokens and all the other bells and whistles. GM is also really funny and definitely a Rule of Cool GM letting players come up with wacky ideas and seeing where the roleplay takes us. This was a great mix of light hearted and also edge of your seat game where the game is exactly what your imagination makes it be. I recommend trying this GM out, very easy for a first time player to catch on and understand! 10/10

Dakota is such a talented, friendly, and knowledgeable GM. I’ve had lots of experiences with GMs on Startplaying and truly Dakota is one of the best with his creative and immersive world building and top tier sound, tech, and roleplay. Dakota was so kind to help me sort some tech issues that were impeding my ability to play. This is your GM if you are looking to get lost in the story for a while and have a blast! 10/10!

Alex is an incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining, and helpful GM. He ran a one shot Learn how to play of Old Gods of Appalachia and it was absolutely wonderful. It’s a great game to check out and very different from most of the TTRPG’s I have experience with. I cannot wait to learn more from Alex from his extensive experience with all things TTRPG. He’s the real deal and it was a wonderful experience.

Just played my first game with Somewhat Cyclops and what an amazing time that was!!! I’ve played with a few GMs on this site and Somewhat Cyclops was so fun! Not only is Rule of Cool big at her table but also she doesn’t just allow PC creativity and curiosity but she celebrates it and rewards it as well. Her table really opens your mind to the realm of possibilities of all the ways a dungeon can be solved and a campaign can be won. Even more than that her own creativity, homebrew, and world building really brings it together in your own mind. I will definitely be at her table again soon! 10/10

Josh is a great GM and a lot of fun to play with. They ran a one shot of Old Gods of Appalachia and I was coming in completely blind and not that experienced of a RPG player. Josh made the onboarding process very easy. They are super knowledgeable and hilarious. The role play is top tier. This game was a blast. I highly recommend!
