So I've been in DnD since I sat on my Father's lap watching him play 'Eye of the Beholder' with grid paper and a notebook. In the last 30 years or so I've seen a lot of good and bad in both groups and DMs and have plenty of RPG horror stories that I could tell as a result. Playing in Erin's game is not a horror story in the slightest (other than it is Curse of Strahd so it is supposed to be a horror story, which it is, so it's... never mind you know what i mean) Erin is absolutely worth the price of admission. She is professional, committed and fully invested in her players while creating and running a world that is truly a joy to be in. I am not being hyperbolic when I say this is some of the most fun I've ever had playing DnD. The players get credit as well since they are best group of randos I've ever played with, but Erin's skills as a storyteller take our sessions to a new level. Things are creepy when they need to be, heartfelt when the occasion comes, and legitimately hilarious when DnD goofing inevitably happens. Through it all she is the deft foundation to which we can explore the world and our characters. Anyone can run a game but very few are as adept as Erin. I highly recommend that you give her games a try and wish her all the best in her endeavors.
