Joshua's "Fightmare" one shot was my first foray into virtual tabletop and I do believe I Nat 20'd in that choice. To begin with, he responded almost immediately, even though I was late in joining in. He worked incredibly hard to ensure that I was ready to go and had the patience of a saint in helping me get my ducks in a row for Roll 20. His role play was excellent and his combat encounters creative and atmospheric (complete with maps and music! And I loved that he regularly checked in with the table for consent at the appropriate times! All in all, if you're on the fence about trying, I can all but guarantee a fantastic game with Joshua.
