Dnd 5e DM here for some years. Looking to explore StartPlaying for a bit, maybe become a DM here and host games. I enjoy many genres and settings from stone age primitive to cyberpunk Gundam space-battles. The universal theme that is a MUST for me is character development. I want the PC group to be exposed to hard decisions that will change them forever going forward. I want to feel those hard decisions affect the world around them. A cleared out dungeon means that in the next few days, the party may hear about an awful stench emanating from the monster den the party just genocide'd. When playing as a PC, I usually start vanilla (DnD Human Fighter) or similar and adapt to the world around me. If I become apart of a band of bloodthirsty warriors, I become the calm and collected herald, using my social ability for the group's gain. It stays this way so long as my character benefits from it. Oh, and I get into it, voice acting wise. I'm about the immersion and believe that players have just as heavy a responsibility as the DM. I will definitely voice act my character and get emotional.
